A beautifully restored 15^th Century cottage in the centre of picturesque Lavenham, ideal for a cosy and romantic self-catering “5 Star” holiday – complete with exposed beams, period character, wood-burner, antique furniture and a touch of luxury! It is suitable for 2 to 6 people (two doubles and a twin bedroom), with plenty of room for bikes/pets (dogs only), yet just a few hundred metres from the centre of Lavenham.

Poppy Cottage is a delightful, ‘Grade II Listed’ detached cottage, which was originally built as a timber-framed ‘open hall’ house. It nestles in a quiet location, and benefits from off-road parking and a lovely, sunny walled garden. It is equipped to a high standard, with everything you need for a relaxing self-catering holiday, including a high chair and travel cot for tiny guests.

The cottage is available all year – for weekends (2 or 3 nights); mid-week short breaks (4 nights); and weekly bookings. Stays usually start on Friday, Saturday or Monday, but other arrangements may be possible (subject to availability).
