Janey Auchincloss Designs is a Landscape and Garden Design Studio at Stone Farm in Brent Eleigh Rd, Lavenham
Trained at Otley College, The University of Cambridge Botanic Gardens and Writtle University, Janey specialises in the creation of classic gardens with a contemporary twist. Ongoing local commissions include a 5 acre garden in Drinkstone, Suffolk, and the management and design consultancy of the grounds of a Grade II listed Rectory in Felsham.
Commercial projects for Clients such as Westminster City Council and Mercedes Benz culminated in the award winning redevelopment of an area of Regents Canal waterfront in Lisson Grove, WC1.
As co-presenter of ITV 1s ‘Britain’s Best Back Gardens’ with Times gardening Correspondent Stephen Anderton and Matthew Wilson, Janey filmed 2 series of 26 half hour programmes visiting 125 private gardens throughout the UK.
2010 saw Janey and co-designer Paul Hammond, architect for Lavenham Village Hall, win a silver medal at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show for the Global Stone Bee Friendly Plants Garden.
